A graduate, reported to be deaf and have a
mental disability, has been crushed to death by a
train in the Oyingbo LGA of Lagos State.
The deceased, identified only as Ibrahim, is was
allegedly walking along the railway line on Tuesday
afternoon when he was hit by the fast-approaching
train.
According to Punch, Ibrahim's body was cut in two
while his arms and legs has also been removed
during the accident.
The remains of the deceased were reportedly
removed from the scene through the help of a
commercial bus.
Residents in the area have lamented the death,
calling on Government officials to put a stop to train
accidents in the area.
Dolapo Badmus, PR Officer for the Police, confirmed
the incident, adding that an investigation was
currently underway at the Railway Police Command.
