A student nurse, who got infected with Lassa fever,
has been discharged from the Federal Teaching
Hospital, Ido Ekiti, where she had received treatment.
For promptly responding to the student nurse and
nursing her to recovery, the management of the
hospital on Monday presented certificates of
excellence in service to a nurse, Mrs Adejoke Awotona,
and others who worked with her.
The Chief Medical Director, Dr. Lawrence Ayodele,
while addressing journalists disclosed that doctors
who failed to join the medical team will be sanctioned
for alleged professional misconduct.
