Arsenal FC have confirmed the departure of right-
back Mathieu Debuchy to Bordeaux on a loan deal
until the end of the campaign.
The Frenchman has featured just seven times for the
Gunners this season and the move allows him to put
himself back in contention for a place in Didier
Deschamps' national team squad for Euro 2016.
Good luck to @MatDebuchy, who has joined Bordeaux
on loan for the rest of the season. Story: https://t.co/

Premier League sides Aston Villa, Sunderland and
Manchester United were all said to be interested in
taking Debuchy on loan, though Arsenal boss Arsene
Wenger is understood to have blocked a move to the
latter.
